Sarbanes-Oxley will drive a new category of product for multi-media analysis.
It's not enough to get signed letters from every employee or manager saying 'I know of no fraudulent activities.
'It's not enough to keep copies of emails and letters.It's not enough to analyze emails in response to discovery or even establish proactive analysis practices.
Clearly, it will be important for companies to save voice mails and many other media streams.It will be important to analyze voicemail and email within the same context to search for high risk communications. Knowing that this voicemail is related to that email which is related to that audio conference will be an important mechanism for compliance management and for SOX forensics.
No doubt, the financial services industry is already thinking and working towards this goal.
