Further to this post, “I got a parking ticket”, I got a reply from the City of San Jose. They basically said, “nice letter. Now, pay up.”

Arghhhh.

A sad but true story of administration gone wacky. I paid and moved on, but I’ll still remember San Jose as that crummy little city on the bay with lousy parking policies and appeal practices. The Valley may be the center of the high tech industry, but nobody says the government there actually has to use any of it.
