The amazing juggernaut that is Google has reached a crest – a point where its growth will shift and new ideas need to come to the table. In this insightful analysis, Business Insider identifies eight Google projects that new CEO Larry Page should just kill because they aren’t cutting it in the face of the competition they were designed to compete against or are not strategically aligned with the core mission of the company.
Some of these, I’ve never heard of, and others such as Chrome, Google TV and Orkut are black holes consuming resources that ought to be more productive elsewhere.
