Nortel’s Mobile Enterprise Virtual trade show makes waves.

Waves may be an extreme term, but it’s movement nevertheless. Using desktop video and conferencing technology Nortel enterprise CTO (Phil Edholm) and CIO (Albert Hitchcock) showed off customer cases, market research and why a wireless world is a natural and good thing to head towards.

Hitchcock showed off  why it makes business sense and Edholm showed off how to get there.

Clever marketing event with lots of mobility messaging and value.

My employer, SIPquest, was a sponsor and showcased the integration of our cell phone Client technologies with Nortel MCS 5100 and MCS 5200 IP PBXes. Our objective in participating was to encourage the category. The event seemed to capture customer interest and delivered Mobility-visibility to the Nortel-leaning global community.
